When it gets cold outside it is time for a bedwarmer: AKA boyfriend. It's nice to time this event for the holidays, too, because a new relationship tends net some very nice Christmas gifts. Some highlights from years past:
Weekend getaway to a very spendy B&B near Big Sur. Complete with lingerie and French chocolate.
Art from a local artist I admire (and I mean admire).
12 Days of increasingly delicious baubles until the big day and an incredibly gorgeous full-length cashmere coat/cape thing (vintage).
Granted, I tend to date older, established men... But a girl has to keep warm!
